IBM and Oracle both announced that they were ditching Terraform for OpenTofu. I got worried, as I had invested some energy in learning Terraform, but was reassured to see that the difference was primarily a licensing thing. In fact, it turns out that IBM bought Terraform itself immediately before doing this, suggesting that they probably plan to merge them and turn Terraform open-source once again.
